ಮೂಡಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಣತೆಯೊಂದು ಬೆಳಗುವ ಸಮಯ. ಇರುಳು ಸುಮ್ಮನೆ ಹಿಂದೆ ಸರಿಯುತ್ತದೆ. ದೀಪ ತಂತಾನೆ ಹೊತ್ತಿ ಉರಿಯುತ್ತದೆ. ಇದು ಮುಗಿಲು ರಂಗೇರುವ ಸಮಯ. ಆಗಲೇ ಸಾಯಬೇಕಿದ್ದ ಒಣಗಿದ ಹುಲ್ಲು ಕಡ್ಡಿಯೊಂದು ಕತ್ತೆತ್ತಿ ನೋಡುತ್ತದೆ, ಬೆಳಕಿಗೆ ತಲೆ ಬಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಕಾಲಚಕ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿಲುಕಿ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿರಥವೊಂದು ತನ್ನ ವೇಗ ಬದಲಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಹಕ್ಕಿಯೊಂದು ಹಾಡುತ್ತದೆ. ನೆನಪೊಂದು ಕಾಡುತ್ತದೆ. ಮೇಣ ಕರಗುವ ಮುನ್ನ, ಸೊಡರು ದೀಪವೊಂದು ಜಗವೆ ಬೆರಗಾಗುವಷ್ಟು ಬೆಳಕ ನೀಡುತ್ತದೆ.
